Kor hour / Kor period is the critical growth period of a crop during which water demand is maximum. 

For most crops, the kor period varies between 2 and 4 weeks.

Kor watering is given during Kor period. 

Kor watering is given to a crop when it has grown a few centimeters high.

 

The depth of water applied in kor watering is known as kor depth.
