The season starting from sowing to harvesting of the crop is called crop season. There are two crop seasons in a year.They are:

i. Kharif Season:

1st April to 30th September 

South west Monsoon to Autumn. 

Summer season

 

ii. Rabi Season:

1st October to 31st March

Autumn to Spring 

Winter season

 

iii. Zaid Crops
